Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Estimator with 3–4 years of experience in steel structures, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), and structural steel estimation. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, material estimation, cost analysis, and preparation of accurate BOQs and quotations for steel structure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material estimates for structural steel and PEB projects.
- Review structural drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
- Calculate steel quantities, including beams, columns, trusses, purlins, bracings, plates, and other structural components.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantity statements.
- Estimate steel tonnage, cutting requirements, wastage, and other material consumption.
- Analyse material, fabrication, painting, transportation, and erection costs.
- Coordinate with the design, engineering, procurement, production, and tendering teams.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and tender cost sheets.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations for steel, hardware, and related materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or technical requirements.
- Verify drawings, specifications, and BOQ quantities to minimise estimation errors.
- Maintain estimation records, costing sheets,



and project documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of structural steel and PEB estimation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and fabrication drawings.
- Expertise in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and estimation software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and structural steel detailing.
- Knowledge of steel grades, sections, plates, bolts, welding, painting, and fabrication processes.
- Valuable analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, or PEB projects is preferred.

Experience Requirements

- 3–4 years of relevant experience in steel estimation, preferably in a PEB or structural steel company.
- Experience in preparing steel quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost sheets, and commercial quotations.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in steel fabrication and tender estimation will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Detail-oriented and capable of meeting estimation deadlines.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working from the Noida office.
- Experience in construction, steel structures, and PEB projects will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
