We are looking for a talented and driven Furniture & Interior Design Intern for our in-house Furniture export brand Heritage Lane Furniture to support our design and development projects. This role offers hands-on experience in luxury interiors, furniture collection development, and end-to-end execution. You’ll work closely with our team and clients, gaining real exposure to the design industry.
What You’ll Do
- Design new furniture collections and support product development and prototyping
- Create design presentations, layouts, mood boards, and styling plans
- Assist in space planning and client interaction
- Conduct order quality checks and final product inspections
- Ensure design execution aligns with project requirements and timelines
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain quality and design accuracy
or a related field
- Solid understanding of furniture design, materials, carpentry basics & joinery
- Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning & ergonomics
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and MS Office
- Comfortable communicating with clients and supporting design lead conversions
- Detail-oriented, organised, creative, and execution-driven.
