A GIS Analyst is responsible for collecting, managing,analyzing, and visualizing geographic and spatialdatausing GIS software and mapping technologies.The role involves preparing digital maps, conductingspatialanalysis, maintaining geospatial databases,and supporting decision-making for projectsrelated to urbanplanning, land management,infrastructure, workplace, agriculture, andnatural resource management.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, process, and analyze spatial andnon-spatial data from satellite imagery, GPSsurveys,field surveys, and other sources.
- Create, update, and maintain digital mapsusing GIS software.
- Perform spatial analysis, overlay analysis,buffering, geoprocessing, and terrain analysis.
- Digitize roads, buildings, land parcels, drainagenetworks, and other geographic features.
- Process satellite imagery and perform basicremote sensing analysis.
- Manage geospatial databases and ensuredata accuracy and quality.
- Prepare thematic maps, reports, layouts,and visualizations for project requirements.
- Integrate GIS data with CAD, GPS, remotesensing,



and other data sources.
- Support field data collection, ground verification,and GPS-based surveys.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors,and project teams.
- Follow project specifications, coordinatesystems, map projections, and data standards.

Required Skills

- GIS software: ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or QGIS.
- Spatial analysis: Buffering, overlay, spatialjoins, raster analysis, and geoprocessing.
- Data management: Shapefile, GeoPackage,GeoJSON, geodatabases, and spatial databases.
- Remote sensing: Basic satellite imageinterpretation and raster processing.
- Mapping: Cartography, map design, coordinatesystems, and projections.
- Data handling: MS Excel and data cleaning.
- Additional skills: Basic Python, SQL, PostGIS,GPS, and CAD knowledge are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcommunication skills

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
