The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for the Power Transformers to join our team in Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. Transformers BU team leverages creative and diverse technology to transform energy, delivering social, environmental, and economic value and enabling a sustainable energy future for current and future generations. The business’s comprehensive portfolio includes power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors, and transformer services.

How you’ll make an impact
• The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer up to 765 kV Class design covering Canada countries.





• Influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.

• Responsible to prepare electrical design (Quotation) meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / Canada standards as per project schedule.

• Responsible for Preparation of Prelim Customer documents, Tender documents, Bill of materials etc. as per project schedule.

• Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.

• Participation in internal design concept reviews.

• Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.

• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
