Position Summary...
As an Engineering Manager on the Builder Experience & CI/CD Platforms team, you will lead a team responsible for building and operating Walmart’s enterprise builder experience and CI/CD platforms. Your team’s work will enable thousands of engineers to build, test, secure, release, and deploy software efficiently, reliably, and at scale.

This role requires robust people leadership, technical depth, and execution discipline across Java, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD technologies, Jenkins, Linux, and platform engineering. You will establish engineering priorities, translate platform strategy into executable roadmaps, guide critical architectural and technical decisions, and ensure the reliable delivery and operation of business-critical platform capabilities. You will hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will partner closely with product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure,



and intuitive developer-platform capabilities that support diverse technology stacks and deployment environments. You will also manage cross-team dependencies, drive stakeholder alignment, remove execution barriers, and ensure that platform investments produce measurable improvements in developer productivity, reliability, adoption, and operational efficiency.
