We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst – Data to support enterprise data transformation and cloud platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in business systems analysis, data requirements, data modelling, data quality, KPI definition, and functional documentation, along with a solid understanding of the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.
This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for scalable, reliable, and governed data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a Business Systems Analyst for enterprise data, cloud transformation, and data platform initiatives.
• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.
• Define requirements for developing, enhancing,



and evolving Azure-based data platforms.
• Work with technical teams leveraging ADLS, Databricks, SQL, and related data technologies.
• Support the definition and evolution of data models across raw, curated, and consumption layers.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define data inputs, transformations, outputs, dependencies, and data flows.
• Define data quality standards, validation rules, business logic, metadata requirements, and data control mechanisms.
• Ensure data requirements address application functionality, regulatory obligations, compliance, and auditability.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish requirements for KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and business reporting.
• Define KPI calculations, business definitions, data dependencies, and monitoring requirements.
