Our current R&D; focus is on developing the Nutrition Intelligence Engine and a Dark Factory for Food — connecting personalised nutrition, wellness programs, food product innovation and technology to create scalable, data-driven transformation solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack App Developer to build and maintain Kefilo's digital platform, connecting customer experiences, personalised nutrition, wellness programs, food products and intelligent backend systems.

This is a founding-level role for a developer who can take ownership of application development from frontend to backend and collaborate with nutritionists, fitness experts, food scientists, AI engineers and product teams to turn Kefilo's vision into a functional, scalable technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop and maintain Kefilo's mobile and web applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services and supporting infrastructure.

- User Onboarding & Assessments: Build user registration, profiling, lifestyle and nutrition assessments, goal-setting workflows and personalised onboarding journeys.

- Nutrition Intelligence Engine: Develop the application infrastructure required to connect user data, nutritional requirements, food databases, business rules and personalised nutrition recommendations.

- Personalised Wellness Programs: Build features for fitness plans, nutrition programs, transformation tracking, progress dashboards, reminders,



consultations and customer engagement.

- Food Product & Meal Systems: Develop digital workflows for food product discovery, personalised product recommendations, menu management, subscriptions, ordering and customer preferences where required.

- Backend & API Development: Build secure APIs, business logic, authentication systems and backend services to support Kefilo's products and operational workflows.

- Database & Data Architecture: Design and manage databases for user profiles, nutrition assessments, food products, ingredients, recipes, programs, orders and transformation outcomes.

- AI & Third-Party Integrations: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI agents, intelligent recommendations, nutrition tools, payment gateways and other third-party services.

- Dashboards & Analytics: Develop dashboards for users and internal teams to monitor progress, engagement, program performance, nutrition-related data and business metrics.

- Automation & Operational Workflows: Build systems to support customer communication, follow-ups, subscriptions, order management and other repeatable business processes.

- Security & Data Privacy: Implement appropriate authentication, access controls, secure data handling and privacy safeguards for personal, health and nutrition-related information.

- Testing, Deployment & Technical Ownership: Manage testing, debugging, deployment, documentation,



performance optimisation and ongoing improvements to ensure a reliable, scalable product.

Ideal Candidate

- Experience in full-stack mobile and/or web application development.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, React Native, Next.js or equivalent technologies.

- Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Java or similar technologies.

- Experience with APIs, databases, authentication and cloud infrastructure.

- Understanding of application architecture, testing, Git and deployment workflows.

- Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations, analytics, payment gateways or recommendation systems is an advantage.

- Interest in NutritionTech, FoodTech, healthtech, personalised nutrition or wellness technology.

- Ability to translate product requirements into working software and make sound technical decisions.

- Solid ownership, problem-solving and execution skills.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build a technology product from the ground up.

Engagement Terms

- Equity-based founding position

- Expected commitment of 20–25 hours/week

- Remote / Hybrid

- No fixed salary at the current stage

- Fixed compensation to be introduced after funding and revenue stabilisation

- Equity based on contribution, technical ownership, responsibilities and long-term commitment

- Five-year vesting structure for core founding team equity

What You Will Build

You will help build the core technology platform of Kefilo, connecting personalised nutrition, wellness transformation programs, food products, customer journeys, data systems and AI capabilities.

Your contribution will support the development of Kefilo's Nutrition Intelligence Engine and its long-term vision of technology-driven, personalised nutrition and intelligent food manufacturing.
