Senior Developer, Oracle CPQ (India)

Role summary

Develop complex Oracle CPQ enhancements based on approved architecture and functional requirements. Implement approval, pricing, discounting, and pending quote capabilities while supporting application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

- Translate approved designs and business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain Oracle CPQ configurations, BML scripts, commerce processes, and business rules.
- Implement approval workflows that expose quote-level margins and support automatic approval and threshold-based re-approval.
- Build centralized list-price and discount-management functionality, including validation and control rules.
- Implement enhancements to the pending quote experience and supporting processes.
- Collaborate with the Integration Architect/Senior Workato Developer on CPQ interfaces and approval interactions.
- Investigate application defects and performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Review code and configurations and provide technical guidance to the CPQ Developer.
- Unit test developed functionality and prepare deployment packages and technical documentation.
- Maintain assigned work tickets and accurate time records.





Required qualifications

- Strong hands-on Oracle CPQ development and configuration experience.
- Proficiency in BML and CPQ commerce, pricing, discounting, and approval functionality.
- Experience implementing complex business rules and workflow enhancements.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience supporting API-based CPQ integrations.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and deployment packaging.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work remotely on a complex cross-functional project

Preferred qualifications

- Experience implementing margin-based approvals and conditional re-approval.
- Familiarity with Workato-based integrations.
- Experience using CPQ diagnostic tools to identify optimization opportunities.
