Responsibilities:
• Identify, appoint & manage logistics service providers.
• Co-ordinate with sales/purchase team and plan with transporters for placement of trucks for loading & unloading.
• Follow up with the transporters on timely deliveries & due documentation such as LR, GRN, Weighment slips etc..
• Control the transit loss & shortages with the transporters & raise DN.
• Maintain documents on the logistics bills, post-shipment docs, and follow up on payments. •Daily monitoring of vehicle transit status and updating the internal team & customers.
•Get Quotes & negotiate with the transporter for better rates to stay within budget & cost savings, etc.. •Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.
