Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Video Editor at Rarefy. The Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive, engaging videos aligned with client goals and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include organizing assets, performing color grading, refining audio and pacing, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements to enhance storytelling. The role involves collaborating with creative and marketing teammates, following briefs, and delivering files in appropriate formats and specifications. The Video Editor is expected to maintain high quality standards, meet deadlines, and adapt content for various platforms such as websites and social media.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, structuring narratives, and optimizing content for different platforms.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and improve viewer engagement.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Solid understanding of video formats, export settings, and best practices for web and social media distribution.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with creative, design, and marketing teams.
