About GigID
India has millions of gig workers who earn steadily but are invisible to traditional credit systems. GigID is building credit scoring infrastructure for them: a transparent score from platform and cash-flow data, plus a lending layer that connects workers to banks and NBFCs. We're early-stage, building fast, and looking for a co-founder to take on the finance side with us.
The role
You'll co-own GigID's finance, lending and partnership strategy as a core member of the founding team. You will:
Lead relationships with banks, SFBs and NBFCs, and close pilot partnerships
Shape credit policy, risk frameworks and loan product design
Guide our regulatory approach (RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, LSP/TSP models, DPDPA)
Own the financial model, fundraising strategy and investor relationships
Help build the company: hiring, structure and go-to-market
Who you are (Requirements)
4+ years in fintech or finance (lending,
credit risk, banking, NBFC, payments or investment)
Hands-on with credit underwriting, risk or lending partnerships
Comfortable with ambiguity and ready to work without a safety net
Robust communicator who can talk to bank executives and investors with equal ease
Owner mindset: you take full responsibility for outcomes
Good to have
MBA (finance, strategy or similar)
Experience with the gig economy, MSME lending or alternative credit data
Existing network in banks, NBFCs or VC
Prior startup or fundraising experience
What you get
Meaningful co-founder equity (with standard vesting)
Real ownership of a core function from day one
A chance to build infrastructure for an underserved segment of India's workforce
