Job Description – Import Executive

About the Role -
We are looking for a detail-oriented Import Executive to manage import operations, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, shipment tracking, customs clearance, documentation, inventory planning, and landed cost analysis.

Key Roles & Responsibilities-

* Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) based on inventory and business requirements.
* Prepare and monitor inventory forecasts to ensure timely product availability.
* Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmation, production, dispatch, and delivery timelines.
* Track shipments and monitor production, transit, ETA, and final delivery timelines.
* Coordinate with freight forwarders and CHAs for shipment movement, customs clearance, documentation, and delivery.
* Manage import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill,



and other required documents.
* Coordinate the end-to-end import process, including customs clearance and timely delivery.
* Coordinate with CHAs for BOE filing, assessment, customs clearance, and BOE knock-off/closure.
* Conduct landed cost analysis, including product cost, freight, duties, clearance charges, and other applicable costs.
* Maintain accurate PO, shipment, import, and BOE trackers and ensure proper documentation and records.
*Coordinate with Accounts, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Suppliers, Forwarders, and CHAs for timely completion of import activities.
* Identify and resolve production, shipment, documentation, or clearance delays through timely follow-up. * Support improvements in import processes, documentation, shipment tracking, and supply-chain efficiency.
