Dean – Student Affairs

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly student-centric Dean – Student Affairs to lead and strengthen the complete student affairs ecosystem of the University. The incumbent will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, inclusive, and supportive campus environment while ensuring that student concerns are addressed through structured systems, effective governance, and timely resolution.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing a large student population, developing student-centric policies and committees, strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms, and driving student engagement through sports, cultural, wellness, and co-curricular activities.

Experience & Eligibility
• Minimum 15 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid experience in Student Affairs / Student Welfare / University Administration.
• Proven experience handling a large student population.
• Bachelor's/master’s degree in any discipline; higher qualification preferred.

Key Responsibilities




• Lead the overall Student Affairs and Student Welfare ecosystem with a strong student-centric approach.
• Establish effective grievance redressal committees, escalation mechanisms, and resolution systems.
• Develop and implement a robust student feedback and satisfaction system.
• Ensure timely resolution of student concerns through a 360-degree problem-solving approach.
• Lead and strengthen sports, cultural, co-curricular activities, student clubs, and campus engagement initiatives.
• Strengthen student wellbeing, safety, discipline, and campus experience.
• Establish effective Student Council/Student Representative mechanisms and encourage student participation.
• Coordinate with academic, administrative, hostel, counselling, security, and other departments to ensure seamless student support.
• Use student feedback and data to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement.
