Role Description
The Business Development Manager – C&I; Renewable Energy is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The individual will be responsible for identifying and engaging C&I; consumers seeking renewable energy solutions, understanding their power requirements, and connecting them with suitable renewable energy service providers. The role involves developing and managing a strong business pipeline, building relationships with key stakeholders, coordinating with internal teams and renewable energy partners, and staying updated on state-wise renewable energy policies and market developments.



This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in expanding WattMatch’s renewable energy marketplace.

Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in the power or renewable energy sector.
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in C&I; renewable energy procurement.
* Solid understanding of the Indian power sector, C&I; energy requirements, and renewable energy procurement models.
* Good knowledge of state-wise renewable energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
* Experience working with renewable energy developers, generators, or service providers is preferred.
* Prior experience with established renewable energy companies or power sector organizations is highly desirable.
* Candidates with utility power procurement experience who have transitioned into C&I; procurement will also be considered.­­
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; MBA is preferred
