Role Description The Embedded Design Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Ponda. The role involves designing and implementing embedded hardware and software for hyperspectral imaging systems, including circuit design, hardware architecture, and firmware development. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and integrating embedded software, performing debugging and validation, and optimizing system performance for reliability and accuracy. The engineer will collaborate with optical, software,



and data teams to define requirements, review designs, and support prototypes and production deployments. The role also includes documentation of designs, adherence to engineering best practices, and participation in continuous improvement of the platform.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in PCB Design and Hardware Architecture for embedded systems
• Proficiency in Embedded Software and Software Development for real-time and resource-constrained environments
• Hands-on experience with Debugging tools and methodologies for hardware and firmware
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers, processors, interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART), and embedded operating systems
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with C/C++ for embedded applications; familiarity with Python or scripting tools is a plus
• Knowledge of signal processing,
