Role Description The Bakery and Pastry Arts Chef Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru at Indian Culinary Academy. The instructor will deliver structured lessons in bakery and pastry arts, demonstrate techniques, and supervise practical lab sessions for students across various course levels. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, preparing training materials and recipes,



assessing student performance through practical and theoretical evaluations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. The role also involves mentoring students, providing constructive feedback, participating in curriculum enhancement, and collaborating with fellow faculty to support events, workshops, and examinations.
Qualifications
• Strong practical expertise in Bakery and Baking techniques, including classic and contemporary methods.
• Proficiency in Food Preparation for bakery and pastry products, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Hands-on experience producing a variety of Cookies, Chocolates, Cake Engineering, Boulangerie, Patisserie, Viennoiserie and related baked goods.
• Skill in crafting different types of Bread, including artisanal and commercial styles.
• Formal training in culinary or bakery and pastry arts (diploma or degree preferred).
