Job Role - Senior Staff Software Engineer

Experience - 15+ years

Location - Bengaluru

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and integration of complex features across products
• Write high-quality code, set best practices, mentor
• Coordinate technical direction with other Staff Engineers; review architectures
• Present engineering topics internally and externally
• Build complex multi-layer features and tests; improve test framework
• Root-cause difficult issues incl. low-level OS problems; handle escalations
• Partner with Product Management and Architects

Requirements

• 15+ years building large-scale distributed applications in Go or Java
• Big data/analytics platforms (Spark, Kafka, Airflow) on cloud warehouses/lakehouses




• Docker, Kubernetes, Linux; cloud-native design on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Strong programming, design, testing; CI/CD and Agile
• Explain complex architectures to non-technical audiences

Key Skills

Go or Java, system design, big data (Spark, Kafka, Airflow), Snowflake / Databricks / BigQuery / Redshift / OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, Agile; SQL & data modelling (valuable to have)
