JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:
Consultant – Patent Managed Services

Location:
Gurgaon/Bangalore

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patent Services Skilled to create high quality patent applications and (preferably) support patent prosecution activities by collaborating with inventors, clients, and external counsel. The role involves conducting invention disclosure discussions, assessing patentability, drafting and reviewing applications, guiding drafting teams, and contributing to Office Action responses. The candidate is expected to maintain high standards of quality, communication, excellent delivery, while operating with a strong client ownership mindset.

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex inventions quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity in both technical and legal articulation.




• Sound problem solving ability and balanced technical/legal judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work while meeting SLA, deadline, and productivity expectations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with inventors, internal teams, and external counsel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation discipline.
• Proactive approach for continuous improvement, training, and process optimization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. – Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Registered patent agent is a plus
• LL.B. (Hons.) from a reputed law school is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in IP services, legal operations, or IP outsourcing specifically related to drafting US patent applications and responding to office actions (preferable)
• Excellent understanding of US, EP & India patent laws
• Strong
