About us

Vibrant Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. is an IRDAI-licensed insurance broking firm headquartered in Ahmedabad, currently operating seven branches. We are opening our 8th branch in Guwahati — our first in the North-East — and are hiring a Branch Director to lead it.

We place the full range of insurance: health, motor, fire and property, marine, engineering and liability.

Role

Full ownership of the Guwahati branch, reporting to the management team in Ahmedabad. Commercial lines are the primary focus area for this branch.

• Own the branch P&L;, budget and growth targets
• Build the commercial book — fire and property, marine, engineering, liability and group health for SME and corporate clients
• Grow the retail book alongside it
• Recruit, train and lead the branch team
• Manage relationships with all major insurers and TPAs
• Oversee claims servicing, including personally driving escalated claims to settlement




• Ensure IRDAI compliance across branch operations

Required

• 8–14 years in general (non-life) insurance
• Currently Branch Manager, Territory Manager, Agency Head, Cluster Manager or equivalent at an insurance company or broking firm
• Proven record in commercial lines — fire and property, marine, engineering or liability — including risk assessment and placement for SME and corporate clients
• Working knowledge of retail health and motor
• Established relationships with underwriters, surveyors and TPAs in Assam
• Fluency in English, Assamese and Hindi; Bengali an advantage
• Graduate. Licentiate / Associate (Insurance Institute of India) preferred

Not a fit: life insurance agency managers and bancassurance managers.
