Job Description – OMS Practice Head

About the Role

KogniVera is looking for an experienced OMS Practice Head with robust technical expertise across multiple Order Management Systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with at least two of the following platforms: KIBO OMS, IBM Sterling OMS, and Salesforce OMS, along with experience in cross-platform OMS migration and enterprise solution architecture.
Key Requirements
• 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 7+ years of specialized OMS experience.
• Hands-on implementation and technical expertise in at least two OMS platforms: KIBO OMS, IBM Sterling OMS, or Salesforce OMS.
• Proven experience in cross-platform OMS migration or modernization, involving source-to-target architecture mapping, order and inventory data migration, API and integration transformation, data validation and reconciliation, functional testing, cutover planning, and go-live support.




• Strong understanding of OMS architecture, order orchestration, inventory management, sourcing, fulfillment, returns, cancellations, and omnichannel commerce.
• Experience in end-to-end OMS implementations, solution architecture, enterprise integrations, and technical delivery governance.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, event-driven architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, databases, and integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, and payment systems.
• Experience in technical leadership, team management, mentoring, and OMS practice development.
• Strong client-facing capabilities in solution design, technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, estimation, and pre-sales.
• Domain experience in Retail, eCommerce, Omnichannel Commerce, Supply Chain, or Marketplace environments.
