Store Manager, Tailoraedge
Bull Temple Road, Bengaluru. Full time, in store, six days a week. Joining 25 October or 1 November 2026.
Tailoraedge is a menswear brand built on one idea: clarity. Two fits, Tailored and Relaxed. One chosen palette, so almost everything goes with almost everything. Named fabrics with honest claims. We sell shirts, trousers, denims, cargos, shorts and jackets, made in Bharat, to men who want to dress well without thinking about it every morning.
We have sold online for years. This is our first store, and you will run it.
What the job is
You open and close the floor, run the day, and own the number. You hire, train and roster a team of two to three. You keep stock accurate between the floor, the back room and our warehouse, and you keep the floor looking the way the brand looks. You handle every customer the way you would want to be handled in a positive shop: listened to, told the truth about fit, never pushed. You send a short daily note to the founder: sales, footfall, what sold, what people asked for that we do not have.
What you need
Three or more years on a retail floor, at least one of them running a store or a section, ideally in menswear or apparel. You can read a size chart and a sales report with equal comfort. You are fluent in Kannada, hindi and English. You are comfortable with a computer/tablet-based billing system; we use Shopify POS. You are honest with customers about fit even when it costs a sale, because that is how a customer comes back.
