As part of our growing team, we are seeking a full-time, remote Technical Sales Representative.

Role Summary
The Technical Sales Representative will identify, develop and grow a portfolio of B2B customers across food, beverage, nutraceutical and plant-based food manufacturing. This role is focused on customer acquisition and on moving qualified opportunities from first enquiry to sample, trial, approval and commercial order, working closely with OMN9's technical team to answer customer requirements and application questions. You'll be a proactive relationship builder, a consultative problem-solver, and a technically informed sales qualified who can translate ingredient functionality into commercial value for customers.

Key Responsibilities




• Building a robust sales funnel by identifying and developing new business opportunities across food, beverage, nutraceutical and plant-based food categories.
• Supporting customers with strong technical applicative know-how and training.
• Build relationships with product developers, formulators, R&D; and procurement teams at food manufacturing companies.
• Translate technical capabilities into customer value by understanding formulation requirements and identifying suitable applications for plant-protein ingredients.
• Coordinate samples, customer evaluations and formulation trials, and follow up on outcomes.
• Track enquiries, leads, opportunities and trial progress to maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Prepare technical presentations, application guides, comparison documents and trial reports.
• Conduct customer meetings and attend relevant industry events.
• Gather customer feedback, competitor information and market insights.
