Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) invites applications from accomplished academic leaders for the position of Director (Health Sciences) to lead academic excellence, research, innovation, and institutional development across its Health Sciences programs.

? Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• A First Class Master’s degree (preferably in Dental Sciences, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Allopathy or Nursing) and a Ph.D. in a relevant Health Sciences discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of teaching/research experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or at an equivalent pay level.
• Solid research profile and publication record.

? Desirable Experience
• Clinical practice, policy-making, accreditation, academic administration, and international collaboration.

? Key Responsibilities
• Lead curriculum development, implementation, and review across UG, PG,



and Ph.D. programs related to Health Sciences discipline.
• Ensure academic quality, faculty development, and student-centered learning.
• Promote interdisciplinary education, research, innovation, and community health initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee faculty recruitment, budgets, infrastructure, and HR policies.
• Establish strategic partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, industry, and international universities.
• Represent the institution before national and international bodies and healthcare councils.
