CompanyRole: Data Hub Geologist / Geophysicist / Petrophysicist
Essential Requirements• Experience: 6+ years in an E&P; (Exploration & Production) or oil & gas service company.
• Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or Petrophysics.
• Strong domain expertise in oil & gas and related scientific technologies.
• Experience working with complex, large datasets and solving data-related challenges.
• Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities• Design and develop data-driven solutions for oil & gas challenges.
• Provide real-time technical support and incident investigation.
• Work with clients to understand challenges and recommend solutions.
• Support technical design,
quality assurance, and process optimization.
• Manage project objectives, priorities, milestones, and multiple projects.
• Explore emerging technologies and innovative products/services.
• Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to technical publications and research initiatives.
Preferred Candidate Profile• Strong hands-on experience in Geology, Geophysics, or Petrophysics.
• Experience with software such as Petrel, Techlog, or Studio.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, scripting, and AI/ML.
• Client-facing communication and technical problem-solving experience.
• Research, publications, or innovation experience is an added advantage.
