Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, taxation, GST, accounting, and compliance assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, vouching and verification, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports.



The role also involves working on income tax and GST returns, documentation, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records for various client engagements. The Articled Assistant will interact with clients for data collection, clarification of queries, and follow-up on compliance requirements, while adhering to professional standards and timelines. This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai.
Qualifications
• Registered as an article under ICAI or eligible to commence articleship; pursuing CA with successful completion of relevant ICAI examination levels.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing standards, taxation (direct and indirect), and GST concepts.
• Ability to work with financial statements, ledgers, reconciliations, and basic financial analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), familiarity with accounting and tax software, and willingness to learn current tools.
