Job Description: Quantity Surveyor (Q.S.)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project estimation, BOQ preparation, cost planning, and quantity take-offs for commercial interior fit-out projects across retail, hospitality, and corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates based on drawings and project specifications.
- Analyse drawings and identify material, labour, and execution requirements.
- Prepare cost comparisons, rate analysis, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, project teams, vendors, and contractors for pricing and quantities.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with tender documentation, billing,



and contractor payment certifications.
- Track variations, additional works, and changes in project scope.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, BOQs, and project cost reports.

Who Should Apply?
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial interiors, construction, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant estimation tools.
- Robust analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
