Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to join the Khan Chacha team at our new Connaught Place outlet. The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for managing the restaurant floor during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth guest service, supervising service staff, coordinating with the kitchen and cashier, maintaining service standards and supporting the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Guest Service
• Welcome and greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist guests with seating and provide menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
• Explain menu items, ingredients and preparation methods whenever required.
• Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally.




• Ensure a positive dining experience from guest arrival to departure.

2. Floor & Team Management
• Supervise Stewards/Service Staff during the assigned shift.
• Allocate tables and sections to service staff.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily operational requirements.
• Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance and service behaviour.
• Guide and train junior team members on service standards and SOPs.
• Ensure proper opening, running and closing of the restaurant floor.

3. Order & Kitchen Coordination
• Ensure accurate KOT/POS punching and order taking.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure timely order preparation and service.
• Monitor order delays and immediately communicate issues to the Restaurant Manager.
• Check food presentation, quantity and order accuracy before serving wherever applicable.
• Ensure special guest requests, allergies and dietary requirements are properly communicated to the kitchen
