Role Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Japanese Language Interpreter / Translator who can effectively facilitate communication between Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams. The candidate should have solid Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation and translation skills, along with experience in customer meetings, conference calls, and client interactions.

Must-Have Competencies :
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation and translation.
• Extensive experience handling customer meetings, conference calls, and customer visits.
• Excellent ability to understand and accurately interpret customer requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
• Ability to facilitate smooth and effective communication between customers and the organization.

Good-to-Have Skills :
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage timelines effectively.
• Strong Japanese email-writing skills.





Roles & Responsibilities :
• Understand and accurately interpret discussions during customer meetings, conference calls, and other business interactions.
• Provide clear and accurate interpretation and translation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese.
• Facilitate seamless communication between Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams.
• Understand customer requirements and communicate them accurately to relevant stakeholders.
• Handle basic business communication and emails in Japanese.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective customer communication.
• Support customer visits, meetings, and conferences as required.
• Be willing to travel to various TCS/client locations across India for meetings, conferences, and business requirements.
