Manual QA Tester Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in Software Testing and Quality Assurance and gain hands-on experience working on real-world web and software projects.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, good analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and work closely with developers and the QA team.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, specifications, and expected functionality.
• Perform manual testing of web applications and software products.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UI testing
• Identify, reproduce, and document software bugs and issues.
• Prepare detailed bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
• Retest bugs after developers provide fixes.




• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Verify website/application functionality across different browsers and devices.
• Check user interfaces for layout, usability, responsiveness, and consistency.
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and senior QA team members to understand and resolve issues.
• Maintain proper testing documentation and update test results.
• Participate in requirement discussions and provide testing-related feedback.
• Continuously learn recent QA tools, testing techniques, and industry practices.

• Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, test execution, and bug reporting.
• Basic understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
