About the role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Civil to make sure our residential and commercial projects are built to approved drawings, specifications and codes. You will own site quality from foundations to finishing, catching defects early so every home we hand over meets the standard our buyers expect.
Key responsibilities
Quality planning
• Prepare and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements
• Review drawings, specifications and BOQs to flag quality risks before work starts
Site inspection and testing
• Inspect earthwork, shuttering, reinforcement, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works at each stage
• Raise and close Request for Inspection (RFI) checklists before every pour and handover
• Oversee material testing: cement, steel, aggregates, bricks/blocks, concrete cube tests, slump tests and soil compaction
• Coordinate with third-party labs and keep test results traceable to each pour and batch
Material and vendor control




• Inspect incoming materials against approved specs and reject non-conforming supplies
• Evaluate and approve vendors, RMC plants and subcontractors on quality performance
Non-conformance and improvement
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), drive root-cause analysis and verify corrective actions
• Track recurring defects and run toolbox talks to train site engineers and workers
Documentation and compliance
• Maintain QA/QC records, test registers, calibration logs and pour cards for audits
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, RERA quality commitments and ISO 9001 practices
• Manage snag lists and pre-handover inspections so units are delivered defect-free
Qualifications and skills
Must have
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with 6+ years' relevant experience may be considered)
• 3–7 years in QA/QC on residential, commercial or high-rise building projects
• Working knowledge of relevant IS codes (IS 456, IS 383, IS 1786, IS 238
