About us
We're an early stage healthtech company building AI for hospital operations in India, with our product already live in hospitals.

The role
You'll be our first dedicated AI engineer, owning conversational AI agents from prototype to production. You'll design how agents think and respond, connect them to our backend systems and improve them using real world feedback. You'll also help choose our AI tooling and shape our technical architecture as the team grows.

What you'll do
• Build and deploy LLM based conversational agents that handle multi turn interactions reliably
• Design prompts, tool use and fallback flows so agents know when to act and when to hand off to a human
• Integrate agents with backend services, APIs and third party platforms
• Set up evaluation, monitoring and logging to measure agent quality in production
• Make build versus buy decisions on speech, language and infrastructure tools
• Work closely with the founders and operations team to turn real workflows into agent behaviour

Requirements
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience,



with solid backend skills in Python
• 1+ year of hands on experience building with LLMs, such as agents, tool calling, RAG or prompt engineering in production
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud deployment, containers and CI/CD
• Strong debugging skills and comfort working with ambiguity
• Clear written communication and ability to work remotely with a small team

Nice to have
• Experience with speech to text, text to speech or real time voice systems
• Experience with Indian language models or multilingual NLP
• Background in healthcare, insurance or other regulated industries
• Experience with Django or Next.js
• Prior startup or founding team experience

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
