Summary:
We are seeking a skilled qualified to design, develop, and execute API test cases, build automation suites, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and security in the software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and execute API test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain API automation suites using the Karate Framework.
• Validate REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and API sequencing.
• Perform CSIRT/Security testing including authentication, authorization, access control validation, vulnerability verification, and security regression testing.
• Create and maintain test data, test scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Execute SIT, E2E, regression, and release validation testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps, and security teams to identify quality and security risks early in the SDLC.




• Analyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics and reports.

Required Skills:• 3-5 years of experience in API Testing and Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Karate Framework.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT, API authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience using Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, CURL, and API debugging tools.
• Experience in CSIRT/Security testing activities and vulnerability validation.
• Good understanding of OWASP security principles and common API vulnerabilities.
• Experience with test automation, defect management, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Education & Qualifications:• Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
