Associate Software Engineer (SWE)

We're hiring an engineer to build the technology behind it.



The role suits final-year students and engineers with 0–2 years of experience.

What you'll do
• Design, build and run backend services and APIs for our delivery operations.
• Build live tracking for our delivery fleet.
• Modernise our internal tools onto a production web stack.
• Own quality: testing, deployments and monitoring.
• Help guide a junior engineer by breaking down tasks and reviewing code.
• Work directly with our operations team to understand problems before you build.

Must have
• Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals.
• Backend development in Node.js or a similar language, including REST API design.
• SQL, ideally PostgreSQL: schema design and indexing.
• At least one application you built and deployed yourself, on any cloud or host, that real people used.
• You can explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-engineers.

Nice to have: TypeScript, React, Docker and CI/CD, GC
