Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cook role based in Jaisalmer. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking daily meals for staff and visitors, ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards. Day-to-day tasks include planning menus, prepping ingredients, cooking a variety of dishes, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas. The Cook will follow food safety regulations, manage inventory, and support purchasing of ingredients as needed. The role may also involve coordinating meal schedules, accommodating dietary preferences, and collaborating with the team to provide a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in basic and advanced cooking techniques, including meal preparation and food presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Ability to plan menus, manage kitchen inventory, and support cost-effective purchasing.
• Experience maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workplace.
• Good time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience as a cook or in a professional kitchen is highly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with staff and management.
• Willingness to work on-site in Jaisalmer and adhere to company policies and standards.
