Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry-Pharmaceuticals from a recognized university.
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on synthetic R&D; experience within a pharmaceutical or contract research organization (CRO) environment.
• Technical Expertise:



Strong mastery of fundamental organic reactions (e.g., coupling, oxidation, reduction, halogenation) and robust skills in crystallization and isolation techniques.
• Safety Compliance: Demonstrated commitment to laboratory safety protocols, proper handling of hazardous chemicals, and maintenance of a clean, secure workspace.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Soft Skills
• Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with analytical development, biology, and scale-up/pilot plant teams to streamline project handovers.
• Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot failed or low-yielding reactions and propose alternative synthetic pathways.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting project updates and technical findings in cross-functional reviews.
