Role: Full stack developer

Role purpose

Design, build and support the software control plane for enterprise file share services. The role owns full-stack development of the FSS Portal for controlled self-service, access governance and data management, and MIDAS for planning, orchestrating, validating and reporting on migrations across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

- Own full-stack development and L3 support for FSS Portal and MIDAS, from SQL schemas and APIs through React user interfaces.
- Design and evolve the domain model for vendor-agnostic storage registries, folder hierarchies, AppShares, ownership, permissions and access relationships.
- Build controlled self-service workflows for share creation, ownership and access requests with policy-based approval routing and audit trails.
- Develop and maintain cascade attestation, SHA-256 JSON state snapshots and automatic access-revocation logic.
- Integrate Microsoft Graph, Active Directory/Entra ID, PowerShell and heterogeneous back ends including SMB, POSIX, NFS, S3, WEKA, NetApp and StorageGRID.
- Build MIDAS capabilities for migration intake, source/target mapping, wave and batch planning, dependency handling, orchestration and stakeholder reporting.
- Integrate MIDAS-native transfers with ShareGate, GoodSync and other approved transfer methods, including provable validation and reconciliation.
- Implement secure coding, authorization, secrets handling, audit logging, input validation, error handling and protection against incorrect access grants or revocations.
- Maintain automated unit, integration and regression tests for security-critical, migration and workflow logic.
- Own source control, peer review, build/release pipelines, environment configuration, production promotion, rollback and release documentation.
- Provide L3 incident, problem and RCA support for portal, workflow, integration, identity, database,



storage and migration defects.
- Maintain product documentation, API/interface specifications, data models, runbooks, test evidence and knowledge transfer.

Required technical skills

- Robust C# and .NET 9 development with Entity Framework Core 9 and production-grade API design.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server, complex relational modelling, transactional integrity and HIERARCHYID for hierarchical folder structures.
- Strong React 19 development for data-dense, component-based administrative and self-service applications.
- Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID integration, including authentication and authorization patterns.
- PowerShell automation and integration with storage platforms and APIs across SMB, POSIX, NFS and S3.
- Workflow and approval-engine design, attestation, automatic revocation, immutable/auditable state capture and security-critical business logic.
- Knowledge of NetApp, StorageGRID, WEKA or comparable heterogeneous storage back ends and file-permission models.
- Migration concepts including discovery, mapping, orchestration, dependency management, integrity validation and reconciliation.
- Git/Azure DevOps or equivalent source control, CI/CD, testing, release and rollback practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end across UI, API, database, identity, directory, network and storage layers.

Experience and qualifications

- 8+ years of relevant experience, including current hands-on L3 ownership in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong incident, problem, change, release and root-cause analysis experience, with clear implementation and rollback documentation.
- Ability to work across infrastructure, identity, security, application, data and integration teams and coordinate vendor escalations.
- Strong customer-facing communication, technical documentation, knowledge-transfer and mentoring capability.
- Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments; working awareness of GDPR, audit evidence and GxP controls is desirable.
