We are hiring a Civil Engineer for a reputed company specializing in the manufacturing of steel structures and construction, offering comprehensive steel building solutions and project services.

Established in Angola in 2010, the company has successfully completed 200+ projects across various sectors, including retail, manufacturing, agriculture, and both public and private sectors.

Role Summary/Purpose

As part of our continued expansion in the construction industry, were seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage Civil and Steel Structure projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, safety compliance, project coordination, cost management, technical support, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Oversee and direct Civil and Steel Structure projects.
- Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering work.
- Review project schedules, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Prepare project progress reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure construction activities comply with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with procurement for material and BOM requirements.
- Support site teams and resolve technical and operational issues.




- Promote and enforce safe work practices on project sites.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Prepare internal and external project status reports.
- Define project requirements and team responsibilities.
- Resolve technical challenges during project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in construction, consulting, design, heavy steel structures, and industrial building projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools.
- Robust knowledge of concrete, steel structures, construction methodologies, and project execution.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to achieve measurable project goals.
- Capability to manage remote site teams effectively.
