- Conduct site survey and site measurements for different types of retail fit-out, commercial and F&B; projects
- Analyse and document existing site conditions based on the project specifications - prepare drawings, photo reports and services documentation required for due diligence.
- Prepare detailed good for construction design drawings based on 3D designs and design intent documentation plans, elevations, sections of all areas, ceilings, faade and enlarged details of key details.
- Know standard materials used in retail fit-out, commercial and F&B; construction and recommended usage, detailing, available dimensions, available variants and physical properties including performance under conditions of fire, wet areas, outdoors, etc.
- Understand typical services requirements based on the design intent and architectural/interior design drawings.
- Coordinate with related sub-consultants to plan the structural, HVAC, electrical, lighting and plumbing, fire-sprinkler requirements for each project and incorporate in to the GFC drawings
- Coordinate and incorporate various low-voltage systems in to the drawings fire alarm, cctv, av/music/tvs, IT, tel, UPS, signage, etc.
- Coordinate between architecture,



civil-interior, structural and services drawings to avoid clashes, coordination errors and achieve a well-integrated design keeping in mind function, aesthetics, constructability and serviceability of the various elements.
- Be proficient in the use of layer management and drawing set-up in accordance with standards and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain records and project documentation as per company file management protocols and guidelines
- - Education/work experience:
- B.Arch/B.E.Civil/B.Des Interior Design
- Diploma Civil, Architecture, Interiors or Draughting
- 1-2 years experience in GFC drawings and detailing at an architecture, interior design or engineering firm
- - Software skills:
- AutoCAD 2D high proficiency in drafting, layer management, detailing, paperspace and viewport setups, scaling, lineweight, font management and colour controls.
- SketchUp – ability to navigate models and extract dimension data and understand design details
- Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Outlook for e-mails
- Filing and documentation in OneDrive, Dropbox, other cloud drives
- Attendance and timesheet logging on specified website apps
