1. Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager for our real estate development projects, with strong expertise in construction quality management, site execution, and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) / batching plant operations.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures at construction sites and batching plants, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, IS codes, project quality standards, and applicable statutory requirements.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Site Quality Management

- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
- Ensure quality compliance in civil and structural works, including foundations, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Inspect construction activities and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement fixing, formwork, curing, and other critical construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party agencies.
- Identify quality deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality of incoming construction materials, including cement, aggregates, sand, steel, admixtures, and concrete.
- Ensure proper maintenance of quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and material approvals.

B. Batching Plant / RMC Quality Control

- Manage quality control activities at the concrete batching plant and ensure consistent production of quality concrete.
- Review and approve concrete mix designs in coordination with approved laboratories and technical teams.
- Monitor batching operations, material proportioning, moisture correction, water-cement ratio, and admixture dosage.




- Ensure regular calibration of batching plant equipment, weigh batchers, water meters, and other measuring instruments.
- Conduct and supervise concrete testing, including slump, temperature, cube sampling, compressive strength, and other required tests.
- Monitor the quality of cement, aggregates, water, and chemical admixtures.
- Ensure compliance with approved mix designs, relevant IS codes, and project specifications.
- Investigate concrete quality issues, strength failures, and rejected loads, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with plant operators, production teams, site engineers, and testing laboratories to resolve quality-related issues.

C. Quality Assurance, Documentation & Compliance

- Establish and maintain project quality procedures, checklists, inspection formats, and quality control systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable BIS/IS standards, approved project specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and maintain material inspection reports, cube test registers, pour cards, NCR logs, and quality documentation.
- Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits and third-party inspections.
- Track quality KPIs, recurring defects, rejection rates, and concrete test results.
- Prepare periodic quality reports for management and recommend process improvements.

D. Team Management & Coordination

- Lead and guide site QA/QC engineers, quality inspectors, laboratory technicians, and batching plant quality personnel.
- Coordinate with construction, planning, procurement, design, and project management teams.




- Conduct quality awareness and technical training for site teams, subcontractors, and plant personnel.
- Ensure timely resolution of quality issues without compromising project specifications or construction safety.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all projects.

3. Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered with strong relevant experience.
- Additional certification or training in QA/QC, concrete technology, or quality management will be an advantage.

4. Experience & Technical Skills

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in quality management within real estate, building construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in both construction site quality control and concrete batching plant / RMC quality management.
- Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, material testing, and compressive strength analysis.
- Positive understanding of relevant IS codes, construction drawings, specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
- Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or large-scale real estate projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, audits, NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action systems.
- Ability to lead a quality team and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and quality reporting formats.
