Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Executive to manage customer credit, collections, receivables, and account reconciliation processes. The role requires close coordination with sales, finance, and customers to ensure timely collections, minimize outstanding dues, and maintain healthy cash flow while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor customer accounts and track outstanding receivables.
- Follow up with customers for timely payments through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Review customer credit limits and recommend revisions based on payment behavior and risk assessment.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Prepare aging reports, collection reports, and receivables MIS for management review.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure effective collection of overdue payments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments, credit notes, and account statements.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies and collection procedures.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Identify high-risk accounts and escalate issues to management when required.




- Manage dispute resolution and coordinate with internal stakeholders for swift closure.
- Assist in reducing bad debts and improving overall collection efficiency.

Key Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Collection Management.
- Understanding of credit evaluation and customer risk assessment.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet collection targets.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA Finance / M.Com / Skilled Accounting qualification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance Operations.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Home Furnishings, Textiles, Consumer Durables, Building Materials, or related industries preferred.
- Strong exposure to customer account management and collection processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
