Role

The Plumbing MTO Engineer is responsible for preparing quantity estimations and material take-offs for plumbing and drainage systems.

Primary Responsibilities

- Review plumbing and drainage drawings.
- Prepare MTOs for pipes,



fittings, fixtures, valves, pumps, tanks, and accessories.
- Develop BOQs and quantity summaries.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams.
- Track material requirements throughout project execution.
- Prepare quantity variation reports.
- Ensure accurate estimation and documentation.
- Support material planning activities.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Assist in tendering and budgeting exercises.
- Participate in coordination meetings.
- Support material reconciliation and cost control.
- Maintain project quantity records.

Education Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Plumbing MTO and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, AutoCAD, and Excel.

Software

- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Excel, and electrical estimation tools.
