The position is expected to manage bamboo nurseries across India and hi-tech nursery to produce high quality bamboo saplings and also oversee and improve the functions of the bamboo nurseries. Manage closely with nursery executives to maintain and manage the nursery operations. Assist the Nursery Manager to increase the productions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the nurserys workforce and provide technical support to the nursery labourers.
- Planning and Monitoring of various Nursery operations
- Responsibility to meet the target production
- Facilitate procurement of planting materials (Bamboo seeds/wildings)
- Handle the financial operations of the nurseries

Experience
- Minimum 5+ year s experience in handling nursery (preferably bamboo nursery) and nursery techniques

- Monitoring of nursery operations and ensuring maximum survivability of saplings
- Timely delivery of technical skills to nursery caretakers and laborers
- Plan and execution of nursery bed preparation, potting mixtures, polybag filling
- Execution of pre-germination treatments and propagation of different bamboo species to attain the highest germination percentage
- Efficient execution of day-to-day activities and maintenance of records
