Job Description for Technical Project Manager (Data Projects) -

- 12-15 years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Project/Program Management, including successful delivery of large-scale Data Transformation, Data Modernization, Data Migration, and Cloud Data Platform initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Data Quality, and AI/ML concepts, with the ability to understand solution architecture, data pipelines, integrations, and technical dependencies.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple technologies, including Data Engineers, Architects, BI Developers, Analysts, Cloud Engineers, QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.




- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust, establish credibility, manage executive relationships, and maintain high customer confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, capacity planning, vendor coordination, and translating business requirements into executable delivery plans.
- Hands-on experience driving Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models, while proactively managing risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and escalations.
- Robust experience in defining, tracking, and presenting project governance metrics, KPIs, executive dashboards, and delivery health indicators, including schedule adherence, milestone tracking, velocity, productivity, effort variance, and forecast accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage resource utilization, team performance, workload balancing, onboarding, and operational efficiency while ensuring delivery excellence and predictable outcomes.
- Experience measuring and improving customer success metrics such as CSAT, SLA adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, escalation trends, quality metrics, and overall project health through data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications preferred.
