- Perform Yocto release and OSS package migrations.
- Upgrade recipes, layers, patches, and package dependencies.
- Resolve build, compilation, packaging, dependency, and runtime issues.
- Handle OSS version upgrades, patch conflicts, and API/ABI compatibility issues.
- Work with RDK-B / RDK-E layered architecture, including BSP/vendor, RDK, middleware, and product-specific layers.
- Build and validate migrated images on target devices.
- Work with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build systems.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Yocto, OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
- Positive knowledge of recipes, layers, BitBake tasks and image generation.
- Hands-on experience with OSS/package migration.
- Experience with RDK-B and/or RDK-E platforms.
- Strong Embedded Linux debugging skills.
- Good knowledge of C/C++ build systems.
