About the role

As a Mortgage Investor Reporting Analyst, you will make an impact by performing reporting and reconciliation activities that support the organization's Loan Servicing functions, including remittance reporting, balancing, record-keeping and payment discrepancy analysis. You will be a valued member of the Investor Reporting Group / Loan Servicing team and work collaboratively with the stakeholders, and clients.

In this role, you will

- Perform remittance reporting, balancing and reconciliations for Private and GSE Investors, ensuring data accuracy between remittance reporting and servicing records.
- Assist in month-end close activities, including booking journal entries, remitting investor funds and compiling investor monthly servicing reports.
- Validate and classify transactions as remittances, wires or advances,



verifying all bank activity against servicing records at loan level and resolving discrepancies with backup documentation.
- Process mortgage funding transactions and payments, complete wire and ACH transfers, and verify funds owed and available for investor principal and interest remittances, advancing funds when necessary.
- Respond to routine investor inquiries and audits, support ad hoc requests and research, and escalate where required.

What you must have to be considered

- Graduate in any discipline, with 18+ months of experience in Mortgage Loan Servicing, preferably Investor Reporting / Investor Accounting.
- US Mortgage Investor Reporting experience, including Actual/Actual, Schedule/Actual, Schedule/Schedule and Supplemental reporting, and remittance validation of Private and GSE Investors.
- Solid knowledge of investor reporting principles and concepts, including debits and credits, cash flow requirements and bank reconciliations, along with basic accounting principles and practices.

These will help you succeed

- SQL or other database reporting experience.
- Experience assessing the probability and impact of internal control weaknesses.
- Experience supporting audits and ad hoc investor relations activities.
- Experience reviewing financial statements and preparing analysis reports.
- Strong attention to detail in mapping collections to remittances made to the Investor.
