Job Description – Commis Chef (Continental)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef with at least 1 year of experience in Continental cuisine to support daily kitchen operations at our café. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in food preparation, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Continental dishes, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items.
- Handle customer orders and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Follow kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and freshness of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations.




- Coordinate with senior chefs and other kitchen team members.
- Minimize food wastage and follow kitchen operating procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or Continental kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of Continental cuisine and food preparation techniques.
- Hands-on experience preparing pasta, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items is preferred.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and ingredient storage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willingness to relocate to or work in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
