Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting knowledge and excellent numerical and calculation skills. Candidates with experience in jewellery or gold firms and practical knowledge of gold purity, karat calculations, and jewellery stock accounting will be given preference.

- Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate records of jewellery stock, gold purchases, sales, and transactions.
- Perform gold karat and purity calculations, including 24K, 22K, and 18K gold.
- Calculate gold value based on weight, purity, and prevailing rates, along with wastage and making charges.
- Reconcile physical gold stock with book records and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and perform account reconciliations.
- Handle GST entries, purchase and sales invoices,



and applicable tax records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Prepare financial reports, stock statements, and monthly accounting summaries.
- Maintain accurate records in Tally and Excel and ensure timely accounting entries.
- Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate in Commerce or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting.
- Jewellery or gold industry experience preferred.
- Robust numerical ability and accuracy in gold weight, karat, purity, and value calculations.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime, GST, and MS Excel.
- Experience in stock reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and financial reporting.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.

Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates currently working or previously employed in a jewellery showroom, gold trading firm, bullion business, or jewellery manufacturing unit will be preferred.

Salary: ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
