About us

Sree Lakshmi Kalamkari Works makes traditional hand-block printed and hand-painted Kalamkari textiles. We sell wholesale and retail, and we are growing on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and B2B portals such as IndiaMART and TradeIndia. We need someone to make our fabrics, sarees and garments look as positive on camera as they do in person.

Role summary

You will plan, shoot and edit photos and videos of our products for social media, online listings and catalogues.

Responsibilities

- Shoot clean, well-lit product photos of fabrics, sarees, dress materials and garments, including close-ups that show the Kalamkari work.
- Shoot short product videos and Reels, such as fabric flow, draping, and the block printing and hand painting process.
- Cover model and lifestyle shoots, and behind-the-scenes content from our production unit.
- Edit photos (colour correction, cropping, retouching) so colours match the real fabric.
- Edit videos with trimming, music, text and captions for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook.




- Deliver ready-to-share photos and videos to the sales team within agreed timelines.
- Keep raw and edited files organised, properly named and backed up.
- Take care of the camera, lights and other equipment.
- Suggest new content ideas and trending formats for our products.
- Be available for planned shoots on weekends when required.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in product photography and videography. Freshers with a strong portfolio can also apply.
- Good knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting and a tripod or gimbal.
- Ability to shoot textiles or apparel with accurate colours.
- Working knowledge of editing tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts formats.
- Creativity, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Based in Hyderabad (or able to relocate) and able to join immediately.

Good to have

- Experience with fashion, saree or textile shoots.
- Basic motion graphics or thumbnail design skills.
