Job DescriptionSeeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown, Should Costing, VAVE, benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency.
Roles ResponsibilitiesPerform Product Teardown Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc.

- Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities

- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost

- Support new product development with early cost estimation

- Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation

- Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies
Additional ResponsibilityB.E./B. Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering

- 3-8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive,



Medical or energy domains

- Solid knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes

- Experience in costing of mechanical parts assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...

- Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations

- Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER etc...
