What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Chassis Design Engineer to work on the design and development of EV 2W/3W chassis and structural components.
You will work closely with R&D;, manufacturing, suppliers and other engineering teams to take designs from concept prototype production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop chassis, frames, brackets, mounts and structural components for EV 2W/3W.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD tools.
- Work on sheet metal, tubular and fabricated components.
- Apply DFM/DFA, GD&T; and tolerance stack-up principles.
- Coordinate with vendors for prototypes, tooling and component development.
- Resolve design, fitment and manufacturing issues during prototype and production stages.
- Collaborate with vehicle integration, powertrain, battery and manufacturing teams.
- Support design validation, testing and design improvements.
What We're Looking For
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in automotive/EV chassis or mechanical design.
- Hands-on experience with 2W/3W chassis or structural components.
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal, tubular structures, welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo / NX.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, DFM/DFA and engineering drawings.
- Experience working with automotive/EV vendors is preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred.
